OVERVIEW
Partnered with the Indiana Crane Naval base to create a educational space themed game called "The Mystery of Vee Island"
Plot: Set sail on an educational adventure with our pirate-themed game, where players navigate through challenges and a variety of engaging mini-games designed to teach the principles of Systems Engineering. As players embark on quests and solve puzzles, they'll gain a deep understanding of Systems Engineering concepts, learning how to model, analyze, and design complex systems.
ROLES
Game Designer: Minigame Levels in Mystery of Vee Island
Art Team Lead: maintained the teams art style, deadlines and managed communication between departments
Artist: Developed illustrations for main characters
Voice Actress: Voice acted the Pirate Captain, Parrot and Gobs
GAME DESIGN
Client request: The Crane Naval Base specified that they wanted to introduce six key steps to their trainees at the start of the game, initially suggesting a quiz format, however they wanted the quiz to be more fun.
My Approach: To meet this need, I embraced the steampunk pirate theme of the game and designed a level set in the ship's boiler room. In my document, players must correctly sequence the six process steps by turning the valves, all while preventing the boiler from overheating.

GAME DESIGN CONT.
Client Request: The crane naval base emphasized the significance of completing tasks in the correct order.
My Apporach: I developed an engaging and interactive click-and-drag minigame to effectively showcase both the aesthetics and functionality to programmers and pixel artists."
